Data Management Analyst

Job Description: Data Management Analyst

Sawgrass Asset Management, an employee-owned Jacksonville, Florida-based Registered Investment Advisor, is seeking to add a full-time Data Management Analyst to their existing team.   This role will provide high-level support to the organization through timely and accurate set-up, management, and ongoing maintenance of data and data sources across multiple systems supporting various departments, including investment operations, investments, marketing, and client service—intended growth into other areas of the firm when ready and able.


  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day data management, supporting the investment, operations, marketing, and client service teams.
  • Monitor and analyze data management systems to verify data accuracy and identify potential quality issues.
  • Maintain data management systems and participate in the design and development of new data pipelines.
  • Input, validation, and consolidation of data across systems.
  • Collaborate with data owners to establish data quality rules and definitions and implement those rules in data management systems.
  • Produce custom solutions in Excel and Word to address reporting requirements and data integration across multiple platforms.
  • Research internal and external data sources for new data and improved sources of data feeds.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to support data integrity efforts.
  • Collaborate on new processes to automate/scale standard reports and procedures.
  • Perform regular data audits to validate data quality proactively.
  • Provide data support services to end users, which include troubleshooting data-related problems and answering questions about data assets.
  • Continuously reviews and updates work procedures so that these documents will be maintained accurately and usable to promote quality outputs.
  • Promote and ensure respect for client privacy and confidentiality in all matters.


  • A Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 5 years of professional experience of relevant industry experience (computer science/engineering, economics, finance, information technology, or related field is preferred).
  • Experience with database and information system technologies.
  • Familiarity with data-centric programming languages and SQL reporting services preferred
  • Must be self-driven and able to work within a small team environment.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • A fast learner with strong attention to detail, enthusiasm, and an aptitude for learning.
  • An organized, logical, goal-oriented, and systematic approach to tasks with a solution-driven approach to problem-solving when presented with a challenge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to exceed clients’ expectations. Continuously develops and maintains a productive working relationship within the department and across the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.  Familiarity with Archer Investment Management, FactSet, Bloomberg, Salesforce, and Seismic is a plus.
  • Advanced Skills working with Microsoft Excel, including solid knowledge of formulas, graphing, automation, and processing large quantities of data relevant to business tasks.
  • Strong project management skills, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills are necessary.

Job Description: Institutional Sales Professional – Remote or Hybrid Optional

An employee-owned Registered Investment Advisor located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida seeks a highly motivated individual to join their sales team. Our firm provides investment management services to institutional investors and advisor-assisted channels. Our products include a wide array of both equity and fixed income vehicles.


  • Proven track record of success in institutional asset management, new business development, and relationship management.
  • A robust network of decision-makers and influencers within plan sponsors, consultants, RIAs, family offices etc. that can be leveraged.
  • Must be able to work in a highly collaborative environment and demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • The search emphasizes the ability to track prospects through a sales process using the firm’s internal CRM and provide regular pipeline updates capturing prospecting and sales activity.
  • The ability to utilize the firm’s sales tools, including insight into the firm’s product slide decks, is highly desirable.
  • The candidate must be able to provide strategic insights on investment proposals, develop revenue projections and manage progress/reporting.


  • 7+ years of institutional sales experience with a successful and measurable track record of new business development.
  • Expertise is required in identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies, and closing deals.
  • Institutional knowledge and a deep understanding of the asset management industry is necessary.
  • Must have a high degree of poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
  • BS/BA degree is required.
